About
Hi, I’m Sarah Dobson, and I’m so excited to be joining the team at Phoenix Support for Educators as a Facilitator. I bring almost 20 years of experience in the Early Childhood Education sector, having worked in a variety of roles including Lead Educator, Educational Leader, Centre Director, and Area Manager.
Throughout my career, I’ve been passionate about building strong, authentic relationships—with children, families, and fellow educators. I believe that true growth and development happen in environments built on trust, connection, and curiosity.
I’ve long been a believer in the Phoenix Support approach, having drawn on their resources and philosophy in my own practice over many years. The opportunity to now be part of a team that empowers educators through connection, reflection, and meaningful support feels like a natural and exciting next step.
I began my journey in early childhood simply because I loved spending time with young children. I’ve stayed because I believe the first five years of life are critical—and that our work during this time has the power to shape lifelong outcomes.
I’m also a proud mum to two beautiful daughters, who continue to inspire my passion for early childhood education every day.
