Lisa Keegan | Phoenix Support For Educators

Dr Lisa Keegan

Queensland Based Facilitator and Mentor

About

Lisa has spent more than 30 years advocating for young children, families, and the educators who shape their earliest experiences. Her work is grounded in contemporary, evidence-based practice and informed by critical, social justice, sociocultural, and post-structuralist perspectives - with a particular focus on social and emotional development and neurosequential brain development.

Lisa believes that quality early childhood education is one of the most powerful levers we have for long-term wellbeing - for children, for families, and for society as a whole. She brings that conviction to every project she is part of, whether working alongside early childhood students, practitioners, service providers, training organisations, or government bodies.

At the heart of Lisa's practice is a commitment to strengthening the connections between research, policy, and the people doing the daily work with children. She is driven by a simple but profound belief: when we prioritise the rights and needs of children and families, we invest in outcomes that ripple outward for generations.
