Bronwyn Ball | Phoenix Support For Educators

Bronwyn Ball

Dominant Connection Cup, General Manager

About

Bron has spent over 25 years working in the early childhood education and care sector, and if there is one thing she knows for certain, it is that people are at the heart of everything worth doing well.

She started her career in 1998 as an educator and progressed into leadership early, spending 18 years as the Director of an early learning service, where she developed deep expertise in service governance, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and - most meaningfully to her - building teams and cultures where people genuinely thrive.

Bron joined Phoenix Support for Educators eight years ago and worked her way up to General Manager, a progression she is incredibly proud of. In this role she leads the operational and administrative systems that support PSFE's national delivery, alongside a team she thinks is truly extraordinary. The people at PSFE show up with purpose, care, and real skill every single day, and they are honestly one of her favourite parts of the job.

Bron's largest cups are safety and connection, and that shows up in everything she does. She leads from a place of wanting people to feel genuinely safe and truly connected - to their work, to each other, and to a shared sense of purpose. She loves taking the time to get to know the people around her at a real depth - to understand what fills their cups and how she can support them to be at their best. She has been known to be a bit of a mother hen to the team, and she wears that with pride.

Outside of work, life is full and she loves it that way. Bron and her husband run a small family business together, and their family keeps things wonderfully busy. Their eldest son Noah races sprintcars at the speedway and they have their own small family race team - so weekends can get a little high-octane! Their younger son Cody keeps life equally adventurous through motorbike riding and fishing. They also share their home with two cattle dogs, Jasper and Max, who are very much beloved members of the family - and Bron's most loyal couch companions for a good Netflix binge.

For recharging, Bron loves getting crafty, camping, going to the theatre, and spending time with friends and family. She is also at a stage in life where she keeps telling herself she is going to learn to love reading for pleasure - she is working on it! In the meantime, Jasper, Max, and a good series on Netflix are doing just fine.
