  behaviourism\, an understanding of a model of human needs\, and strategie
 s for working with children with challenging behaviours. Target outcomes o
 f the BESST Program are for educators to develop effective plans to foster
  children’s self-regulation and forge accepting and respectful relations
 hips with children. The BESST Program is underpinned by theoretical framew
 orks such as self-determination theory\, guidance theory\, and the Phoenix
  Cups framework. The BESST Program is a 7.5-hour training workshop. This i
 s an all day event with registrations opening at 8.30am for a 9am start. L
 unch and refreshments will be provided on the day.
